Overview:
Thirty years in the future the human brain will undergo
a frightening transformation. The awesome power of the mind will
be revealed and the destructive potential of humanity unleashed.
Around the world, ordinary people display the ability
to generate immense energy emissions with their minds. Labeled Psionics,
these individuals are quickly overwhelmed by their complex new Talents,
and succumb to insane, destructive rages that lead society to the
brink of collapse.
Government agent Nathaniel Cain is a powerful Pyro-kinetic
(fire-starter), groomed from birth to serve the public interest
in the war against rogue Psionics. Cain must now undertake a perilous
mission, which will ultimately lead him back to the facility responsible
for his training and purpose: The Aiken Institute. Can those deemed
the protectors of mankind possibly be its greatest enemy?
